'ICEBOUND' SHINES AT POETRY AFRICA

The 19th Poetry Africa Festival took place in Durban (South Africa) from October 12 to October 17 this year. Among the 24 featured poets was the Free State's Serame 'Icebound' Makhele, a well known, striking spoken word performer, writer, cultural activist, and events co-ordinator. The mammoth event was hosted by the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal's Centre for Creative Arts.
